Hi,

I?m a beginner and maybe I am really stupid but ... here?s my problem:

I am running Cubase VST 3.6 on a 333 PII under Windows 98 with 256 MB RAM.
When I try to open an instrument with edson and play/ record it within Cubase I can hear the correct sound for a view seconds ... but then the sound turns into some ugly noise without stopping and the hole system hangs. Edson without Cubase works fine. If I edit some sound manually within Cubase also everything works fine.

Do you have any ideas how I can solve this problem? Thank you so much,
